Sora’s Keyblade Kingdom Hearts

Hello everyone, I’m here with another model update for y’all. This time it’s Sora’s Keyblade.

One of the final models that I wanted to do this year was Sora’s Keyblade from Kingdom Hearts. After Sora was announced for Super Smash Bros, I think it would be a welcomed addition to my modelling portfolio. I haven’t really delved into ‘gaming’ models yet. But as a designer, I go where my heart takes me.

This is only a model at this point. I have a lot to work on to make it 3D printable. Which I won’t be able to do until after I get back to my printers to test tolerances.

Sora’s Keyblade

Keyblades are mysterious weapons that are heavily featured in the Kingdom Hearts series. Wielded by the main character, Sora, as well as a number of other important characters, the Keyblade is the main part of the battle between Darkness and Light.

This has been a fun model so far. But I think I’ll have to transfer the drawing into Fusion 360 to make it a proper 3D printable model. Blender is great for one piece models but something like this I feel will be better suited in Fusion 360.

I’m trying to create more models weekly. That will be my new year’s resolution. At the moment I’m working on big models and not actually producing anything on a regular basis. So I’m trying to turn it around with a few models per month.
